Tomorrow night is open house!  We can’t wait to see all of our little buccaneer friends.  Open House starts at 6 pm.

Pirate families, Alvin ISD has made the decision to close campuses on Monday, September 13 and Tuesday, September 14 as of the time of posting in an abundance of caution ahead of Tropical Storm Nicholas. 

Monday after-school extracurricular activities are cancelled. The regularly-scheduled Alvin ISD Board Meeting has not been cancelled. Alvin ISD will continue to provide updates through social media.

Classes will resume normal operations on Wednesday, September 15.

Alvin ISD ha tomado la decisión de cerrar los campus el martes 14 de septiembre de 2021. Las clases reanudarán las operaciones normales el miércoles 15 de septiembre de 2021.

Dear Parents and Staff,

Out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our staff and students, Alvin ISD campuses will be closed on Monday, September 13, 2021 due to Tropical Storm Nicholas. With anticipated flooding, it may not be safe to transport students to and from school. 

This closure includes all extracurricular activities for Monday, September 13.
