August 3 & August 4
Kindergarten Pirate Preview
Meet Kindergarten teachers, get to know procedures, explore the school. Kindergarten students will attend one AM or PM session on one of the days. More information will be sent home soon.
August 4
Deadline for Returning Students Verification & Registration
You are considered a returning student if you completed last school year in an Alvin ISD school. Please complete the following steps to register as a returning student:
- Complete the 2022-2023 Back to School Forms in Skyward. Click here for instructions.

NEW! Families that meet any of the criteria below must provide current residency information to the campus by August 4.
- Have a student entering 3rd, 6th, or 9th grade.
- Have previously established residency through leases, rental agreements or address affidavits.
Proof of Residency includes: (a) deed, mortgage, tax statement, or lease; (b) current light, gas, or water bill dated June, July or August; or (c) Parent/guardian driver's license, or other picture ID matching current residence. At any time, Alvin ISD reserves the right to request Proof of Residency documentation for any student enrolled in the district.
